Executive Assistant & Hiring Coordinator


As Executive Assistant and Hiring Coordinator, Myah oversees the schedule and correspondence of Essie’s Founder & Executive Director and leads all processes to grow the Essie staff team.

She has four years of experience in administration and human resources, and a deep desire to connect people, build community and prioritize that which is essential for growth. Previously, she was a Human Resources Coordinator & Executive Assistant at a nonprofit serving at-risk youth, managing the personnel functions for a large service agency and supporting three executives. Myah also brings with her experience in administration and human resources in for-profit and academic settings.

Myah studied Political Science at De Anza College, holds a certificate in Leadership and Social Change, and is a certified Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR).
